RICH-Ed (Resources for Interculturality in Chinese Higher Education) is an Erasmus+ CBHE Project (2017-2020), which aims at supporting Chinese universities in creating a learning environment that empowers students and staff for global engagement. To this end, the project sets out to define a pedagogical approach for intercultural learning, and to develop learning resources for students and support staff that will be tested at the five Chinese partner universities and elsewhere in the Yangtze River Delta and North-east China.
From an organizational point of view, a full-day training event of teaching staff will be organized in the 4 cities where Chinese partner HEIs is located: Ningbo and Hangzhou in the Yangtze River Delta, and Harbin and Changchun in North-East China. Teachers from other HEIs in those target regions will be welcome to join the training at any of these four venues between May and August, 2019. The training event will be preceded by preparatory autonomous work and will be followed up with additional tasks for the participants. For those teachers from other HEIs who will later participate in the testing of the learning materials, additional coaching will be provided by the core team of trainers on site.
